(+-3/4hour drive to Sommen lake with car or 2h train to Linköping)
3. Brussels/Charleroi ✈️ Copenhagen
(train / car is possible from Copenhagen)
For guests who prefer to drive and take a ferry, here are the main routes:
1. Germany ➡️ Sweden (Direct Ferries)
Route: Drive from Belgium through Germany to a German port (e.g., Kiel / Travemünde / Rostock).
Ferry: Take a direct ferry from Germany to Sweden
- Kiel to Gothenburg
- Travemünde to Malmö/Trelleborg
- Rostock to Trelleborg

Onward Journey: From Gothenburg, Malmö, or Trelleborg, it's approximately a 3 hour drive to Lake Sommen.
2. Denmark ➡️ Sweden (Bridge or Short Ferry)
Route: Drive from Belgium through Germany to Denmark (e.g., Copenhagen area).
Option A (Short Ferry):
Take a short ferry from Puttgarden (Germany) to Rødby (Denmark), then drive through Denmark to the Øresund Bridge.
Onward Journey: From Malmö, it's approximately a 3.5 hour drive to Lake Sommen.
Option B (Bridge):
Drive across the Øresund Bridge from Copenhagen to Malmö, Sweden.
